Waiting Room

This room is accessed by an entrance on the northern elevation. It once served as another waiting room and storage area but was later converted into a kitchen.  Interior finish consists of tongue-and-groove flooring, once covered in vinyl, original beaded paneling, and four one-over-one double-hung windows. Evidence of an earlier chair rail similar to the one in Waiting/Ticket Room survives on three of the walls. The recent demolition of the room’s southern wall reveals the building’s framing. Evidence of the original beaded ceiling survives in places where the ceiling has been reworked.
